you can start again.
A colleague of mine said something the other day that stuck with me. She mentioned how it’s already so late in the year, and she feels like she hasn’t achieved much. But since it’s so late, she figured there’s no point in starting something new now.
That quiet sense of: What’s the use? It tends to creep in when the year’s winding down and it hasn’t all gone quite the way you planned. But the truth is, it’s never too late to start again.
That same day, I decided to open up a project I’d put on hold almost two months ago, an app I was building before life got unexpectedly busy and stressful. I had told myself I’d come back to it when things calmed down. They didn’t. But I started again anyway.
And you know what? It felt good. Not because I suddenly made massive progress, but because I remembered what momentum feels like, I remembered what it is like to be excited for a personal project. Starting again doesn’t mean starting over, it just means continuing the story.
There’s still time. There’s always time. You can start again today, this week, this month.
This Week’s Thought:
What’s something you’ve put on hold that deserves another shot? Pick one thing and start again this week.
See you next Sunday,
Arteri
