have a bias to action.

have a bias to action.

This Week’s Idea: Most of us don’t need more time, we need less hesitation.

We make spreadsheets. Vision boards. Mood boards. Game plans. 5-year plans. We convince ourselves that if we just think a little more, we’ll feel ready. But the truth is: We don’t think our way into clarity, we stumble our way into it.

A bias to action is the underrated superpower of people who get somewhere interesting. They don’t wait until they have a perfect map, they just start walking and figure it out from there.

A few months ago, I bought a ticket to a Noah Kahan concert… in Switzerland.

At the time, I had no idea how I was going to get there. No flights booked. No accommodation. Just a wild click and a confirmation email. Somehow, that one move set everything else in motion. And two weeks, it ultimately led to one of the most memorable concerts I’ve ever attended.

After taking that initial step, the rest unfolded because it had to. Once you’ve made the first move, your brain gets creative. You find ways. You build momentum. You get there. Even a bad step is better than standing still.

So if something’s been sitting on your list for a week, a month (or even a year), just lower the bar. What’s the smallest step you can take today?

This Week’s Prompt:

What’s one thing you could do this week that would take you one step closer to where you want to be, no matter how small?

Make the call. Send the email. Book the ticket.

Momentum loves the brave.

See ya next Sunday,
