fun is allowed.
Somewhere along the way, “fun” got a bad rep. It started feeling unproductive, childish, or like something you had to earn.
But this week, I decided to spend my time after work on a bit of harmless fun. I built LEGO sets, I played racing games and even stayed up later than usual, and honestly? I felt better because of it.
Happier. More motivated. Like my brain got a break from the usual routine.
Turns out, fun isn’t a distraction. It’s fuel. It reminds you why you care about anything at all. You don’t have to take life so seriously for it to be meaningful.
You’re allowed to enjoy things. For no reason. Just because they’re fun.
This Week’s Prompt:
What’s one thing you could do this week just for the fun of it?
Build something. Play something. Be a little unserious.
It counts.
See you next Sunday,
Arteri
